Both body supports are done, last night I completed the 2nd support and cut and glued and screwed on all the support braces. They seem very strong and stable. I did add one metal brace on each to help with keeping them from racking in case some of the screws popped loose or something. I don’t anticipate a problem but i had them so put them on.
The supports are huge so I’m looking forward to getting this part done and getting them out of the garage.
I did some more work to prep the car for removal after completing the supports. I removed all the 17mm body mount bolts the 2 under the gas tank and the 2 inside the rear wheel wells. They came out without to much forcing the worst was the one on the front beam on the side that is rusted so bad so makes sense that that one would be the most difficult to remove. All hardware was salvagable and can be reused. The spedometer cable was removed from the drivers side front grease cap and pulled back from the backing plate.
Next steps…. removal of interior cross brace for rear seats and interior body mount bolts and the ones around the perimeter of the pan underneath.
